The first, organizational, meeting of the Cambridge Linux User Group was a great success. Here are the highlights for those of you who were unable to attend in person.

Seven members were in attendance to contribute to the discussion.

Our host, Gary, has provided a wonderful, comfortable, meeting location for us.

Meeting dates will be the third Monday of each month to complement the existing first Monday meetings of KWLUG.

CambridgeLUG welcomes a broad spectrum of Linux enthusiasts. New users and curious, not-yet-Linux-users are welcome along with hardened, cynical, experienced IT professionals and everybody in between.

Business users and IT professionals who seek to add to their UNIX / GNU/Linux skills are particularly welcome.

Our meetings will include a balance of informative presentations and casual discussion. Topics for upcoming presentations can be seen on our presentation list.

After the formal meeting some of us will adjourn to a local restaurant for refreshments and discussion.
